Salad Recipes
It's important to eat a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, in as many different colors as possible. Combining them in a salad is both easy and delicious! Loaded with vitamins and minerals, eating a salad a day will also increase the level of powerful antioxidants in your blood.
Rainbow salad
Assortment of vegetables in all colors giving you abundance of vitamins.
1 big bowl of raw vegetables
Tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, red cabbage, greens, pumpkin ...
Salad Dressing
2 tablespoon Waihi Bush flaxseed oil
2 tablespoon grinded Radiant flaxseed
1 tablespoon sesame brown
2 tablespoon Radiant Nutritional Yeast
1 teaspoon Radiant Eucalyptus honey
Enjoy!
Quinoa vegetable salad
1 cup quinoa ,boil in 2 cups water. Once cooked set aside to cool.
1 carrot ,sliced
3 leaves of red cabbage, finely sliced
1 letttuce, sliced
1 red onion, sliced
6-8 small cherry tomatoes
2 tbsp goji berry, soaked and drain off water.
2-3 cooked potatoes, cubed
Dressing
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
3 tbsp nutritional yeast
2 tbsp tahini
3-4 tbsp e/v olive oil
2 tbsp honey or agave nectar
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
Mixed all ingredients together and mixed into the vegetables and quinoa.
Toss well and enjoy!
You can replace quinoa with millet. (millet vegetable salad)
