Nutty Oats Ice Cream

Craving for healthy dessert ? You can always include this in your fitness meal~

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups unsweetened soy milk / oat milk
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1/4 cup regular rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS: 

  1. Soak rolled oats
  2. Blend milk cashews until smooth then add in the remaining ingredients, including the oats, and blend
  3. Refrigerate the mixture until chilled (anywhere from 2 hours to overnight)
  4. Churn with ice cream maker and freeze for 3 - 4 hours before serving

* No ice cream maker? Use the freeze (45 minutes) and stir method. Repeat process every 2 - 3 hours to get desired consistency
